The iconic Musso and Frank Grill in Hollywood will celebrate its 105th anniversary on Friday, Sept. 27. From Sept. 24-26, Musso’s will offer complimentary chocolate and orange mousse cake desserts stamped with the venue’s 105th anniversary logo on top. The restaurant originally opened on Sept. 27, 1919.
The Musso and Frank Grill also recently received a new historic marker sign on Aug. 15 installed by the Hollywood Historic Trust in front of the restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard. The sign is among 47 newly designed historic markers installed to preserve Hollywood’s history and educate the public about significant structures on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. The new signs replace historic markers installed in 1999.
“When we’re asked, ‘What is the secret to surviving for 105 years?’ the answer is simple. It’s all about the people – our customers and our team,” said Mark Echeverria, COO, CFO and a fourth-generation member of Musso and Frank’s family of owners. “We grew up concurrently with the town of Hollywood – we are siblings – and we’re here to serve this very special community. It’s what we’ve always done and what we will continue to do for the next 105 years. At Musso’s, we measure time in centuries. And after our first 105 years, we’re just getting started.”
The Musso and Frank Grill is located at 6667 Hollywood Blvd. For information, call (323) 467-7788, or visit mussoandfrank.com.
