The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, will open THEBlvd Privé, an alfresco pop-up dining experience, on March 3.
The hidden hideaway will feature a California-inspired menu, Ruinart champagne, fanciful cocktails and decor reminiscent of the time when the hotel’s private cobblestone boulevard was created in the 1970s. Illuminated by gas lamps imported from a castle in Edinburgh and enclosed by lush green hedges, guests can dine outdoors five days a week.
“THEBlvd Privé menu will feature fresh, crisp and locally-sourced menu items that you would expect to find here in Southern California,” Chef Amir Nematipour said. “Which of course pairs perfectly with our idyllic year-round weather.”
Nematipour’s signature dishes include locally sourced roasted whole branzino with chermoula, petite salad and barbecued lime; roasted acorn squash winter salad with California-grown kale, quinoa and cranberry dressing; and Snake River Farm beef filet with truffled gnocchi, roasted greens and peppercorn sauce.
“There is something for everyone on my brunch, lunch and dinner menus,” Nematipour added.
Pair a signature dish with a glass of Ruinart blanc de blancs or rosé. The beverage menu also features refreshing cocktails such as the Feeling Pretty, and libations with more of a “punch” such as the Forbidden Fruit.
End a delicious meal with dessert such as the Privé Cocoa Bar made with chocolate moelleux sponge, chocolate crémeux, hazelnut crush and cocoa nib nougatine, or a roasted fruit tart of crumbly sable, citrusy crémeux and house-made passion fruit meringue.
Restaurant manager Victor Triebel added that the experience and ambiance is one of the most important parts of a meal.
“We’ve thought of everything to ensure you have a fully immersive, safe and sensorial dining experience, Triebel said. “From the moment you arrive and are greeted by our host, to the music melodiously playing in the background during service, the masterfully crafted menus and until your departure, we’ll be conductors in your dining experience, certain to ensure you’re creating memories that will last a lifetime.”
THEBlvd Privé will be open Wednesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 5 to 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 5 to 10 p.m. For reservations, call (310)275-5200.
