Applications are now open for the 60th annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration, presented by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and held at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
L.A.-based cultural and performing arts groups interested in representing the talent and traditions found in communities across the region are encouraged to apply.
Selected artists will perform on one of the largest and most iconic stages in Los Angeles; performers will be seen live on local television, broadcast to a large audience. The three-hour televised tradition will showcase some of the best bands, orchestras, choirs and dance companies the county has to offer.
The live performance will take place on Dec. 24, from 3-6 p.m.
To apply, visit holidaycelebration.org. Artists must belong to one of the following performance categories: vocal ensemble, music ensemble or dance, and performances must be suitable for an all-ages crowd. They must complete the online application form. Candidates must submit a high-quality three-minute video (max length) that shows a continuous performance; no edited pieces or montages; and was recorded within the last 12 months. The deadline is Aug. 4.
