The Los Angeles Philharmonic, joined by conductor and composer Teddy Abrams and pianist Yuja Wang, presents the 2026 Gala on Thursday, Oct. 1, with an evening of music at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The gala marks the official start of the 2026-27 season and celebrates the transformational power of music to inspire creativity and connection.

The program also raises essential funds to support the LA Phil’s community and education programs, helping bring music and music-making to more than 150,000 children and families across Southern California each year.

Abrams conducts the LA Phil, with pianist Wang, pianist and clarinetist Boris Allakhverdyan. Showtime is at 7 p.m. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is located at 111 S. Grand Ave. For information, visit laphil.org.
