The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that Air Supply will be honored with the 2,859th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at 6126 Hollywood Blvd. Air Supply will receive the star in the Recording category.
For 50 years, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock – known to millions of fans worldwide as Air Supply – have captivated audiences with soaring harmonies, timeless love songs and an unmistakable blend of pop and rock. The duo marked its golden anniversary on May 13, 2025, with a sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall. The celebration came 50 years after Russell and Hitchcock first met on May 12, 1975, during rehearsals for the Australian touring production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame for the city of Los Angeles and hosts the star ceremonies.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Air Supply to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said. “For more than 50 years, Air Supply has created a timeless musical legacy that has touched generations of fans around the world.”
Air Supply’s hits include “Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “Every Woman in the World,” “The One That You Love,” “Here I Am,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Making Love Out of Nothing at All.” Five Air Supply songs have achieved multi-million radio plays, and Russell received a BMI Million-Air Certificate recognizing three million performances of “All Out of Love.” The group continues to perform approximately 130 concerts a year throughout North America and around the world.
