The LA Phil presents “Rubén Blades & Roberto Delgado Big Band: Fotografías Tour” on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. at the Hollywood Bowl.

The concert brings the Panamanian salsa legend Blades back to the Hollywood Bowl alongside the Roberto Delgado Big Band, presenting his latest production, “Fotografías,” along with hits across his career. The evening also features Latin Grammy-winning artist Silvana Estrada.

Blades’ landmark albums in classic Afro-Cuban salsa brought together rock, jazz and influences from across Latin America and around the world, helping shape a sound that continues to inspire artists across salsa, rock, reggaeton and hip-hop. A 12-time Grammy Award and 13-time Latin Grammy Award winner, Blades is known for his music and political conscience, storytelling and deep sense of connection. He will also be honored this year with the Billboard Icon Award at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Telemundo, recognizing his lasting impact on Latin music and culture. Blades recently released “País Portátil,” featuring eight interconnected songs that explore themes including migration, corruption, incarceration, social responsibility and hope.

The evening is presented with 88.1 KJAZZ. The Ford is located at 2580 Cahuenga Blvd. East. For information and tickets, visit hollywoodbowl.com.
