Re “Park Labrea News celebrates 80 years of publishing,” Sept. 24 issue

Congratulations on 80 years. Your paper is so important to keep us informed about what is happening in our local community.

When so many people only read the New York Times and listen to cable news, they do not know what is going on in their own neighborhood. You report on things that affect us in our daily lives and I appreciate that. Thank you.
