7811 Gallery is hosting an artist talk with Faidra Koutsouri on her exhibition “Ghost Girl” on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 3-5 p.m. Koutsouri creates powerful paintings and mixed-media pieces, juxtaposing soft acrylics with black lines, images from her unconscious and nature, with words from her diary. Koutsouri grew up on the island of Corfu, Greece, which awakened her senses to nature and affected the way she experiences beauty and emotions.
