Rosewood STEM Magnet welcomed students back to campus on Aug. 12 for an exciting first day of the 2026-27 school year. Students proudly wore their school uniforms and arrived ready for a year of learning, exploration and discovery.
The morning began with a schoolwide assembly where Principal Linda Kaye-Crowder welcomed students and introduced Rosewood’s staff. Adding to the excitement, students entered campus through festive balloon arches as parents and staff greeted them with signs proclaiming “Welcome Doctors,” “Welcome Architects,” “Welcome Engineers” and messages celebrating limitless possibilities for the future.
Among those beginning a new adventure were Rosewood’s youngest learners. The transitional kindergarten students in Ms. Parks’ class had a wonderful first day as the newest members of the Rosewood family.
The first day set the tone for a year filled with high expectations, joyful learning and the belief that every child has the potential to do extraordinary things. Rosewood STEM Magnet is located at 503 N. Croft Ave. For information, visit rosewoodelementary.org.
