The La Brea Tar Pits and Museum is remining the public that they have until Tuesday, July 7, to visit the iconic La Brea Tar Pits before it closes for a planned two-year renovation. The announcement mars the final chance to see and experience the site before it undergoes a transformation.
The museum will be open daily through July 7 from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. except on Saturday, July 4, when it is closed for the holiday. Admission is $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and students and $7 for children.
Large crowds are expected – particularly July 3, 5 and 6. Reservations are strongly recommended. The La Brea Tar Pits and Museum is located at 5801 Wilshire Blvd. For information, visit tarpits.org.
