The Original Farmers Market, corner of Third and Fairfax, presents the return of the annual Thursday Night Music series through Sept. 3.
Held weekly on the Market Plaza, the longstanding series features a diverse lineup of local musicians and bands spanning jazz, swing, soul, roots, Latin, reggae, blues, rock and hip-hop.
This year’s series will feature select evenings in partnership with Altadena Musicians, spotlighting artists impacted by the California wildfires and supporting the broader local music community through fundraising and awareness. Participating dates are June 11, July 30 and Aug. 27, during which the nonprofit Altadena Musicians will be onsite from 7-9 p.m. accepting musical instruments and vinyl donations, which will be used to replace lost instruments and records in the fire. Monetary donations are also accepted.
Highlights from the 2026 series include a George Michael Tribute Pride Concert featuring Careless Whisper, Sinatra-style swing from The Jazz Cartel, Afro-Cuban and Latin sounds from Los Calicubanos. And Motown, soul, roots rock, blues, reggae and big band performances throughout the summer.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner, drinks and shopping throughout the market during the performance series. Admission is free and open to the public. The Original Farmers Market is located at 6333 W. Third St. For information, visit farmersmarketla.com.
