The BHPD is investigating a solo-vehicle crash on June 23 in which a Tesla sedan careened through a fence and onto a church playground. No children were present and no injuries were reported.

The collision occurred around 1 p.m. near North Santa Monica Boulevard and Camden Drive, BHPD Sgt. Audra Alatorre said. The driver crashed onto the property of All Saints’ Episcopal Church of Beverly Hills, she added. Officers responded and took a report. The Tesla driver was not arrested.

“It’s unknown what caused the collision,” Alatorre said.
