Beverly Hills Unified School District announced the return of Beverly Highlights, the student newspaper of Beverly Hills High School, back in print for the first time in nearly a decade.

A longstanding and respected publication on campus, Beverly Highlights has served generations of students as a platform for storytelling, student voice and journalistic excellence. Its return marks a meaningful moment for the school community, reconnecting a cherished tradition with a new generation of student journalists.

Produced entirely by students, the newspaper reflects the perspectives, creativity and curiosity of Beverly Hills High School’s young writers and editors. From campus news and features to opinion and culture, Beverly Highlights continues its legacy of elevating student voices while building real-world skills in communication, collaboration and critical thinking.

“As a former Beverly Hills High School student, this moment is especially meaningful to me,” BHUSD Board President Judy Manouchehri said. “Beverly Hills High School’s Beverly Highlights has long been an important platform for student journalism and expression. Its return to print reflects our commitment to ensuring students have meaningful opportunities to share their perspectives and engage their school community.”

The reintroduction of a physical newspaper offers students a tangible way to engage with their work and their community.

Copies of Beverly Highlights will be available at select on-campus events and locations, inviting students, staff and families to experience the publication firsthand.
