This Mother’s Day, Telefèric Barcelona in Brentwood invites guests to celebrate Mom and mother figures with a festive, flavor-forward experience rooted in Spanish tradition. Telefèric Barcelona will offer a selection of indulgent, limited-time specials including a seafood-forward paella de marisco; a rich lobster meloso with creamy rice, lobster and saffron; and cochinillo asado, an oven-roasted suckling pig with crispy skin served alongside potato gratin.
The Mother’s Day Pack for Two offers a ready-to-enjoy feast designed to celebrate Mom at home. The spread features favorites like patatas bravas with brava sauce and aioli, burrata di stefano with cherry tomato and basil, tuna tacos, Pulpo Telefèric with truffle oil and pimentón potato purée, and lobster paella, plus churros with chocolate and toffee for dessert, with an option to add on house-made sangria.
Perfect for celebrating Mom with something a little extra, the limited-time Mother’s Day cocktail is a refined spring sparkler blending crisp vodka with jasmine-peach cordial, topped with cava and finished with a scoop of fresh sorbet, offering equal parts cocktail and dessert.

Say ‘cheers’ to Mom at THE Blvd
THE Blvd Restaurant is featuring a tantalizing Mother’s Day three course prix fixe menu curated by executive chef Colin Bedford on Sunday, May 10, from noon-5 p.m.
The dining experience begins with an amuse bouche, followed by the choice of an appetizer from the green strawberry salad to a seafood and citrus salad, lobster salad egg benedict, bigeye tuna, asparagus tartlet or the yellow corn soup with shrimp. For the entrée, select from the warm seafood crêpe and caviar, garden vegetables, halibut with asparagus, Jidori chicken, handmade spring agnolotti, beef tenderloin or the poached lobster and Brentwood corn custard. End things on a sweet note with the peach yogurt tart, strawberry éclair or the chocolate raspberry mille-feuille.
The experience also includes live music from noon-4 p.m. Families can create a complimentary mini floral bouquet in Mom’s honor. Guests can add some sparkle to their dining experience with the option of free-flowing Telmont champagne for an additional fee.
The three-course menu is priced at $165 per adult, and $65 per child ages 6-12.

Crudo e Nudo offers Mother’s Day Flight for seafood lovers
Santa Monica’s sustainable seafood restaurant and biodynamic wine bar recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and is located just steps from the beach. Chef and owner Brian Bornemann and team are offering a generous four-course Mother’s Day Flight for $75 per person. The flight available all day from 12-9 p.m., in addition to their usual $95 multi-course Neptune’s Flight. The Mother’s Day Flight will include the restaurant’s classics – a seasonal crudo trio showcasing local seafood; Santa Monica Farmers’ Market Mezze featuring a variety of seasonal vegetables with a black garlic hummus and almond dukkah and a “Caesar Goes Vegan” salad with little gems, avocado, croutons and furikake; roasted prawns and a seasonal gnocchi; and chocolate almond butter cups for dessert. Essentially, it’s six items, but offered over “four courses,” so it’s a solid deal for brunch, lunch or dinner – and for any mom who cares deeply about where their seafood and wine comes from.

The Culver Hotel reimagines weekends
At The Culver Hotel, weekends now unfold with a more defined and elevated sense of occasion. Now served from 1-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, The Culver’s afternoon tea has been refreshed with a more playful aesthetic – think, pink and white hues and floral teacups – and a menu that blends classic and contemporary touches. Highlights include macerated berries with Romanov cream, freshly baked scones and French canelés with house-made strawberry jam, lemon curd and clotted cream and a lineup of fancy tea sandwiches and savory bites. The hotel’s popular weekend brunch, served from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on both days, features savory and sweet comfort dishes and elevated staples, including Smoked Salmon Benedict with tarragon béarnaise and a frittata with garlicky kale, gruyere, Boursin cheese and wild arugula to a cornbread waffle with maple cinnamon brown sugar butter and French toast with chantilly cream, bourbon maple syrup and blueberries.
