Beverly Hills Mayor Sharona Nazarian recognized Sparks of Kindness Youth. Sparks of Kindness Youth Fund is a nonprofit charity created by four sophomores Audrey Farahnik, Caleb Yellin, Baron Shimonovsky and Eloise Behrstock in 2025 to support youth affected by the Palisades and Eaton fires. It began as a website organizing wish lists for fire victims and soon grew over the ensuing months into an organization seeking to uplift communities reeling from loss. Over the holidays, it organized a community gift drive and gift-wrapping volunteer day. Hundreds of presents for affected youth were donated, assembled and brought to the Palisades Renewal Center and Altadena Girls Center. Many of SKY Fund’s volunteers live in Beverly Hills.
