A fire that erupted on Feb. 13 damaged a unit in an apartment building in Hollywood. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called at 1:53 p.m. and arrived to find smoke coming from the two-story building. They found flames inside a wall in a unit and extinguished the fire in approximately 25 minutes. Firefighters remained at the scene for several hours to assist with overhaul and to ensure the fire did not rekindle. No injuries were reported and the specific cause is under investigation.
