One year after the devastating January 2025 wildfires, the California Fire Foundation has announced significant progress with wildfire relief and recovery efforts, including millions of dollars raised and distributed to hundreds of community partners. Additional funding opportunities are now available to support ongoing recovery.
To date, the California Fire Foundation has provided over $9 million in support to individuals, families, first responders, fire departments, local nonprofits and community organizations.
CFF’s grants support wildfire recovery and resilience efforts including food security and basic needs assistance; housing repair and rebuilding; support for children, families, older adults and vulnerable populations; and community outreach and coordinated recovery services. The CFF is currently accepting applications for the Wildfire Disaster Relief and Recovery Grant in Los Angeles County. Award amounts range from $25,000-$100,000. Applications are reviewed quarterly and can be submitted by visiting cafirefoundation.org/grants.
