Holidays at Greystone, the community celebration at Greystone Mansion presented by the city of Beverly Hills Community Services Department, delighted thousands at the seventh annual event, which transformed the historic mansion into a winter wonderland of multicultural holidays, immersive activities, beloved characters and festive cheer.
Since launching in 2019, Holidays at Greystone has grown into a signature community event, attracting families in Beverly Hills and beyond, and selling out once again this year.
The mansion and courtyard were decked in festive decor and multicultural themes, celebrating several December holidays including Hanukkah, Christmas, Lunar New Year, Kwanzaa and Yalda.
Attendees explored both the courtyard and interior spaces of the mansion, enjoying interactive activities, crafts and experiences tailored to children and adults alike.
Star-studded appearances included Santa and Mrs. Claus and her gingerbread house, “Frozen” characters Anna, Elsa and Olaf, and Nami, the Beverly Hills Police Department’s support dog.
Carolers roamed the grounds and the mansion, Bob Baker Marionettes presented puppet shows and life-like reindeer offered interactive moments and photo opportunities throughout the venue.
The Holiday Craft Village buzzed with hands-on activities, celebrating December holidays. Children wrote letters to the North Pole and hung their wishes on the wishing tree. Children enjoyed games across mansion rooms, with chances to win prizes. Every child received a holiday coloring book, refreshment and treat, plus a goodie bag.
