The Costume Designers Guild has announced the official nominees list for the 28th Costume Designers Guild Awards.

Celebrating excellence in film, television, short form costume design and costume illustration, the annual CDGA ceremony will take place on Thursday, Feb. 12, at The Ebell of Los Angeles. Winners in the nine competitive categories will be announced live at the event.

Among the nominees are “Bugonia,” “One Battle After Another,” “Weapons,” “Sinners,” “Frankenstein,” “Wicked: For Good,” “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” “Emily in Paris,” “The Studio,” “Wednesday,” “Palm Royale,” “Andor” and “The Masked Singer.”

The Costume Designers Guild, Local 892, is a union formed for the promotion and protection of the art of costume design. Members, including costume designers, assistant costume designers and illustrators, use artistry and technical expertise to create believable characters through their attire, reflecting their personality, social status and identity within the narratives of film, television, commercials, music videos and short form design. With more than 1,000 members, the CDG is an affiliate of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.
