The Geffen Playhouse presents “Table 17” running from Thursday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Dec. 7. Written By Douglas Lyons, directed by Zhailon Levingston and produced in association with Mark Cortale, the production features Gail Bean, Biko Eisen-Martin and Michael Rishawn.
Jada and Dallas were once engaged, but now, they’re meeting for dinner to untangle the past. Between cheeky waiters, old wounds and the undeniable spark that still lingers between them, their casual reunion may ignite a bomb neither of them can defuse. Fresh from its hit off-Broadway debut, the witty new play serves romance, regrets and the unexpected possibility of second chances.
Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday; 8 p.m., Friday; 3 and 8 p.m., Saturday; and 2 and 7 p.m., Sunday. An additional performance will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $36. The Gil Cates Theater at Geffen Playhouse is located at 10886 Le Conte Ave. For information, visit geffenplayhouse.org.
