The Original Farmers Market, corner of Third and Fairfax, is holding the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19.
The market will welcome Urban Saddles Equestrian Group, a nonprofit based in South Los Angeles whose mission is to preserve Black cowboy culture and educate inner city youth. Guests will learn about horsemanship and get a hands-on experience with horses.
Visitors can also enjoy animal fun with the Tucker Petting Zoo, featuring pigs, goats, sheep, a mini cow and alpaca. Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s pumpkin patch returns and children can enjoy pumpkin decorating (while supplies last) and play fun games including pumpkin bowling.
The Fall Festival also includes a full lineup of live music with two stages featuring country, bluegrass, western swing and rockabilly bands. The festivities start at 11 a.m. on both days. The Original Farmers Market is located at 6333 W. Third St. For information, visit farmersmarketla.com.
