The much-anticipated Fall Beverly Hills Art Show is back, bigger and more electrifying than ever. The free two-day celebration covers four blocks of Beverly Gardens Park – from Beverly Drive to Crescent Drive – on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Get ready to immerse in a feast for the senses, where artists display their talent, live demonstrations spark inspiration and a festive beer and wine garden offers sips, sounds and sensational sustenance.
A record 250 artists across 10 media will display sculpture, painting, photography and digital art, mixed media, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, glass, jewelry and watercolor. Live demonstrations bring the studio to the street with painting in oil and watercolor techniques, jewelry design and two- and three-dimensional artworks.
A beer and wine garden with relaxing music will give visitors a rest over sips and conversations, while a line-up of delectable gastro-worthy food trucks, including Asian street food truck, Friendly Fruits, Itz No Cho Day, Serendoggity and Wise BBQ, will please palates.
Witness chalk art masters in action featuring Stacy Nalapraya on Saturday, Oct. 18, who will create a grand pavement mural using Imandonnari, an Italian street painting style. On Sunday, Oct. 19, meet Gloria Ing, renowned for her large-scale murals that electrify attendees.
Meet Metro Art-commissioned artists Meleko Mokgosi, Devon Tsuno, Phung Huynh and Oscar Magallanes, who are creating artworks for the future Beverly Drive and Century City Stations, part of the Metro D Line Subway Extension Project. Explore the processes behind their artwork designs for the future stations though hands-on collage and portrait-making activities.
First-time participant Andrew Max Modlin bridges digital and organic worlds, exploring perception and memory with a bold, contemporary edge. Watercolorist Martino Dorce, a Haitian-born artist, brings a powerful narrative voice and luminous imagery rooted in his Caribbean heritage and global experience. Tom Sweetser’s new media-inspired landscapes fuse mid-century design with sun-drenched SoCal iconography – think classic cars under endless blue skies and palm-lined horizons. Oil paintings by Emily Wallerstein mix industry and nature, revealing light, texture and the beauty of life’s imperfect balance.
