The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, in collaboration with Los Angeles Public Library and the U.S.-based Sejong Institute, will host “One Fine Day: Korean Tea & Craft” on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Mark Taper Auditorium at the L.A. Central Library.
The interactive event offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the elegance and spirit of Korean traditional culture through tea and crafts. Tea master Yoonhee Kim, CEO of Tea Classics, will guide participants through the rich history, etiquette and deep values of Korean tea culture, creating a calm and meaningful experience. Through the partnership with the Sejong Institute, guests will also take part in hands-on traditional Korean craft workshops. Additional activities include Korean calligraphy and traditional folk games, making the event accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
Participants will enjoy Korean tea and snacks, experience cultural games and take home their own crafted accessories and calligraphy pieces.
“This event is a wonderful chance to experience the beauty and charm of Korean traditional culture,” KCCLA Director Haedon Lee said. “We hope attendees will find peace and inspiration through tea, creativity in crafts and joy in traditional games.”
