The Television Academy recently announced 111 nominations in 31 categories for the 77th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, to be presented on Saturday, July 26 at the Skirball Cultural Center. The ceremony will be hosted by Kelvin Washington, anchor for Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards honor locally produced programs in the categories of Crime and Social Issues, Culture and History, the Arts, Human Interest, Sports, the Environment and Live and Breaking News Coverage. For information and a complete list of the nominations, visit emmys.com.
