The board of directors of the Rodeo Drive Committee announced on June 11 the election of Kathy Gohari, a fashion industry leader with decades of experience across global luxury retail, as president of the Rodeo Drive Committee, effective July 1. Gohari, who returns for a third term, will steer the organization with new and returning Executive Committee officers. Together, they will steward the famed boulevard as it enters a transformative era of luxury retail, design innovation and global attention with the cultural momentum building ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl LXI in 2027 and 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Gohari’s newly formed executive committee is composed of seasoned leaders and fresh voices. Newly elected vice president Houman Mahboubi and vice president Risa Misawa join returning vice president Kiersten Dunn, vice president Chelle Kearney, vice president and former RDC president Kay Monica Rose, and treasurer and former RDC president Mark Tronstein.

A bellwether for luxury and culture since its founding in the 1970s, Rodeo Drive is recognized as one of the most sought-after luxury retail locations in the world. In parallel with work linked to the opening of the Wilshire/Rodeo Metro station scheduled for 2026, the street is seeing a wave of boutique openings and reopenings – including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Cartier and Alexander McQueen.
