Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested a man believed to be a transient who smashed the window of a real estate office on May 1 on the northeast corner of Olympic Boulevard and Bedford Drive.

BHPD Lt. Kevin Orth said the suspect smashed the window around 8:25 a.m. and fled the scene. Officers located the man nearby, and took him into custody. Orth identified the suspect as Kent Maddox, 26. He was booked for vandalism.

Maddox has been arrested twice during the past six months in Los Angeles, including in the Wilshire area last December and the San Fernando Valley in September. No further information was available about those cases.
