The Blind Children’s Center held an Easter egg hunt for students in this photograph in the April 13, 2000, issue of the Beverly Press and Park Labrea News. The center hid beeping eggs that enabled students to find them using their senses of hearing and touch instead of sight. The Blind Children’s Center, located at 4120 Marathon St. in East Hollywood, continues to offer high-quality early childhood education programs for children ages 18 months to 5 years old with vision impairment.
