After a star-studded, sold-out launch that drew the attention of Hollywood insiders and press alike, Wiggle Room is continuing its explosive debut season with a chilling new residency: “Crime Scene Live,” featuring legendary homicide detective Don Tabak. Taking over the iconic suite at the Loews Hollywood Hotel – where Britney Spears once filmed her “Everytime” music video and Lady Gaga rehearsed for “A Star Is Born” – the new installment will run every weekend in May, except the weekend of May 17.
Part immersive theater, part true crime experience, “Crime Scene Live” invites guests to step inside some of Los Angeles’ most infamous murder investigations. Drawing from over 100 real-life homicide cases, Tabak guides audiences through high-profile stories including those of John Belushi, the Hillside Strangler, Biggie Smalls, Nicole Brown Simpson and the Manson murders. With gripping detail and a commanding presence, Tabak leads guests through a journey of suspense, insight and psychological intrigue, culminating in a fully interactive “Who Dun It” experience where the audience becomes part of the investigation itself.
Tabak, a decorated former homicide detective and consultant for CNN, BBC and Fox, is widely respected for his investigative work on some of the most sensational criminal cases in L.A. history. Now, he brings those stories out of the courtroom and into an intimate live setting, transforming cold case files into living, breathing performances that blur the lines between crime, theater and audience engagement.
Wiggle Room Entertainment, co-founded by 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons and award-winning producer Erich Recker, is quickly redefining the boundaries of live performance by merging narrative, interactivity and exclusivity in a way never before seen in Los Angeles. The concept brings guests into high-end suites for immersive storytelling experiences that span genres – from mind-bending illusions to culinary storytelling to true crime theater – all within arms’ reach of the performers themselves.
Tickets for “Crime Scene Live” are available at wiggle rooment.com. Additional shows will be announced soon, including June’s residency with Michelin-starred chef Fabrizio Vaccaro, and a rotating roster of celebrity-driven storytelling experiences through summer 2025. Loews Hollywood Hotel is located at 1755 Highland Ave., inside Ovation Hollywood.
