Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division are seeking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian.
The driver of a light-colored SUV or crossover vehicle was traveling west on Venice Boulevard on Jan. 29 around 9 p.m. when the vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was crossing Venice Boulevard at St. Andrews Place within a marked crosswalk., police said.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a hospital, where he died. The victim was not identified pending notification of next of kin.
