Registration is open for Sages & Seekers’ 2025 winter programs. The nonprofit links older adults with students for enrichment, mentorship and positive interactions.
For “sages” (adults 60-plus), the program provides an opportunity to share life experiences with an interested listener. The forum engages participants in a thoughtful examination of life and how personal challenges are overcome. Through interaction, students develop a greater appreciation of older adults and their legacies. Both generations discover commonalities and shatter stereotypes.
“Seekers” (young people ages 14-24) who enjoy speaking with people from older generations are also sought. Candidates include young people looking to pursue a career working with senior citizens and those looking for someone to talk to who listens and is nonjudgmental.
Sages & Seekers also holds online and in-person programs throughout the year. The registration deadline for winter 2025 programs is Jan. 9. For information, email loriann@sagesandseekers .org or visit sagesandseekers.org/ enroll.
