The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles and Photographers Society of Southern California present “The 18th Photographers Society of Southern California Exhibition-Riches of the Land: After Hours” from Dec. 5-20 in the KCCLA Art Gallery, 5505 Wilshire Blvd.

Each year, PSSC brings together the works of talented artists under a unifying theme. This year’s exhibit “Riches of the Land: After Hours” showcases more than 40 works by 12 photographers, capturing the enigmatic allure of night. The collection illuminates the mysterious yet vibrant beauty of the night and evokes the complex emotions that twilight inspires. Visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquil rhythms of the night and experience the subtle awakening of urban landscapes after dusk.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. An opening reception will be held on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the KCCLA Art Gallery. Attendees will have a chance to win a limited-edition 2025 calendar featuring the work of PSSC members.

“Photographers are visionaries who uncover new meanings every day, transforming fleeting moments into timeless art,” KCCLA director Sangwon Jung said. “This exhibition vividly portrays the interaction of light emerging from the darkness and serene stillness of the night, reflecting the photographers’ devotion and artistic judgment. We hope it offers visitors a heartfelt moment of inspiration, comfort and contemplation.”
