The “I Have A Dream” Foundation-Los Angeles is holding “The Dream Big Gala 2024” on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Skirball Cultural Center.
As the organization’s premier fundraising event of the year, the gala plays a crucial role in securing resources necessary to support long-term, transformative programs for youth in under-resourced communities. The “I Have A Dream” Foundation-Los Angeles is dedicated to empowering young people to achieve their full potential by providing comprehensive support. From a young age, the foundation promotes education and career success through academic support, mentoring and parent engagement. Funds from “The Dream Big Gala” directly support IHADLA’s programs, making a difference in the lives of young people.
“We are thrilled to host our biggest event of the year,” executive director Chaznae N. Walker said. “The Dream Big Gala celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of our students and honors the inspiring community leaders who encourage them to reach for the stars.”
The Dream Big Gala will feature an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding local leaders whose dedication and achievements inspire IHADLA students. The event will also celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of youth served by the foundation, highlighting their resilience and determination in overcoming challenges. The gala will unite philanthropists, community leaders, sponsors and advocates dedicated to educational equity and youth empowerment.
Tickets to the gala start at $500. The Skirball Cultural Center is located at 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd. For information, visit ihadla.org/dream-big-gala-2024.
