West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2024 40th Annual West Hollywood Creative Business Awards: There’s No Place Like WeHo on Nov. 20 at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood in West Hollywood. The ceremony celebrated 21 nominated businesses that have shown innovation and creativity in their business models; nominees were selected by their peers in the community, and the winners were chosen by the WHCC Membership, who were announced from the stage at the event.
The night began with a reception and silent auction sponsored by Beverly Center and closed with an after-party co-sponsored by Capitol Drugs and The h.wood Group.
The There’s No Place like WeHo gala was produced by Chris Isaacson Presents with rich, velvety bejeweled accents including lush red flower centerpieces paying homage to the ruby theme resonate with a 40th anniversary celebration.
Co-hosted by comedians Justine Marno and Marco Delvecchio pumped up the audience with a hilarious routine as masters of ceremonies; and Winner of NBC’s “The Voice,” singer and songwriter Alisan Porter delivered beautiful renditions of “Blue Bayou” and “Over the Rainbow,” in addition to one of her original songs.
Among the honorees were Capitol Drugs, Kimpton La Peer Hotel, GYM Bar WeHo, Or Bar, Visit West Hollywood, JJLA, WeHo Green Business program and Anthony Vulin, owner of The Collective Realty.
