As part of the city of West Hollywood’s continuous efforts to increase voter participation, the city reminds community members that each vote counts and every voice matters.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Now is the time to get #VoteReady for the 2024 General Municipal Election. Make a plan to vote. West Hollywood has produced a limited number of Get Out The Vote lawn/window signs. Community members may pick up a free sign in the lobby at City Hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Blvd., or at the City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room, located at 625 N. San Vicente Blvd., during the next City Council meeting on Monday, Oct. 21, starting at 6 p.m.

On Oct. 7, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk began mailing each registered voter a Vote-by-Mail ballot. For an easy-to-use tool to learn about the ways to securely cast a ballot, visit plan.lavote.gov. The site features a vote center locator, a ballot drop box locator, an interactive sample ballot, and the “Where’s My Ballot” tool. Accessible vote by mail information is also available on the county website.

The deadline to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 21. If unregistered to vote, register today. If registered, check voter registration and remind friends and family to do the same. Those who will be 18 years old by Election Day can pre-register to vote, as well.
