LA Prime, the renowned restaurant located at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, has announced and officially launched a unique collaboration with Flowers Vineyards & Winery from the Sonoma Coast and Faust Winery from Napa Valley. The partnership, available now through December at LA Prime, promises an exceptional dining experience that highlights the artistry of both food and wine.
Chef Wilson McFarlin leads the culinary efforts at Flowers Vineyards & Winery, bringing a fresh, local approach to his dishes. He joined Flowers in 2022 after working at top Napa Valley restaurants and as a private chef in Sonoma. Wilson partners with local farms to create seasonal menus and lives in Petaluma with his wife and two daughters.
Westin Bonaventure executive chef Andreas Nieto and chef de cuisine Anh Do will team up with Wilson to curate an exquisite menu that beautifully pairs with elegant wines from Flowers and Faust wineries. Guests can expect a culinary journey that showcases the freshest local ingredients and the sophisticated flavors of California’s finest vineyards.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Flowers and Faust wineries,” Nieto said. “This collaboration allows us to elevate our dining offerings and present our guests with a truly unforgettable experience that celebrates the best of California’s culinary and wine heritage.”
Wednesday-Sunday through December, LA Prime will feature a multi-course menu, expertly crafted to complement the exceptional wines from both Flowers and Faust. Each dish will reflect the dedication and passion of the chefs, ensuring an exquisite balance of flavors that highlights the nuances of the wines.
Dishes from Wilson include tombo hamachi with avocado puree, stone fruit relish with espelette pepper, paired with Flowers rosé, Sonoma Coast, and seared ora king salmon, lacinato kale, maitake mushrooms and romesco sauce, paired with Flowers pinot noir, Sonoma Coast.
