The Original Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax has announced the return of its beloved fall festival weekend on Oct. 19-20. This year’s festival will be especially memorable as it marks the market’s 90th anniversary celebration. Over the course of two days, visitors can enjoy a wide range of family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo with various animals such as a cow, donkey, alpaca, pigs, rabbits and goats. Other fun activities include a pumpkin patch, games and fun seasonal crafts. Live music will fill the air with performances from local bands such as The Storytellers, June Clivas & The Ditty Boys, and Dave Stuckey & The Five Hoot Owls.
In addition to live entertainment, festival-goers can partake in interactive activities like “Slimy Fun” presented by Sloomoo Institute LA, beaded corn on the cob crafts, and games designed to celebrate the spirit of fall. The weekend promises to be a festive celebration for visitors of all ages, combining the charm of timeless seasonal traditions with the vibrant energy of the market.
Fall Festival runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. each day. The event will be held at various locations throughout The Original Farmers Market, including the Plaza, Gilmore Lane and West Patio. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience one of L.A.’s iconic destinations as it celebrates its milestone anniversary in true autumn style.
