Hollywood Forever Cemetery held its annual Día de los Muertos celebration on Oct. 26. Attendees gathered for the all-day event commemorating the Mexican holiday celebrating life and those who have passed.
People from all over Los Angeles created intricate altars, or ofrendas, to honor deceased loved ones, as guests enjoyed pan de muerto and other food and drinks from many local restaurants and vendors.
Families gathered on the lawn to listen to music from renowned artists including Ambar Lucid and Los Lobos, who dedicated a song to Fernando Valenzuela.
Hollywood Forever will host singer-songwriter Kevin Garrett at its Masonic Lodge on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., located at 5970 Santa Monica Blvd.
