Andaz West Hollywood, a rock ‘n’ roll icon since 1963, has a storied history on the Sunset Strip – from Keith Richards tossing a TV out the window to Axl Rose grilling steaks and setting off fire alarms.

Guests now have a chance to make their own mark at the legendary venue. In collaboration with Cancer Support Community Los Angeles, Andaz West Hollywood invites participants to go “over the edge” and rappel down its iconic 14-story building on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

The fundraiser provides a unique chance to experience the adrenaline rush of rappelling and allows participants to honor loved ones affected by cancer. For those not rappelling, there are many ways to get involved including volunteering. Guests can enjoy a variety of food and activities throughout the day at the fun and engaging event.

Participants can secure a spot by pledging to raise $1,000 or more for the cause. Cancer Support Community Los Angeles offers free mental, emotional and social support programs to people impacted by cancer, including support groups, counseling and educational programs. Founded in 1982, CSCLA’s mission is to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
