CatCon will return to the Pasadena Convention Center on Aug. 3-4. The two-day immersive experience – dubbed the ComicCon for cat lovers – lives at the intersection of pop culture and cat culture, bringing together cat enthusiasts from around the globe and helping over 200 kittens find their forever homes at the Hill’s Pet Nutrition Adoption Village.
The cat art show will have an allnew exhibit presented by Cat Art Show and Felix Cat Insurance titled “Whisker Wonderland” dedicated to “Alice in Wonderland.” This whimsical display promises to enchant visitors with creative and feline-inspired original works of art based on the classic tale. The Mad Catter’s Tea Room is where guests can dive into an immersive, totally cat-themed photo experience inspired by the famous “Mad Hatter” tea party from “Alice in Wonderland.” Live meet-and-greets will include the heroes of the Australian Firefighters Calendar along with a panel discussion hosted by musician and comedian, Shiadanni. These heroes have raised over $3.45 million for various charities and will be at CatCon to raise funds for cat charities and support on-site adoptions.
Part expo, part symposium, CatCon engages, educates and entertains thousands of fans, featuring the latest in groundbreaking products and ideas for cats and their people, immersive experiences, celebri-cat meet-ups and interactive workshops.
