The Korean American Coalition Los Angeles will host the National College Leadership Conference from June 17-21 at Pepperdine University. With a history of over 40 years, it is the longest running annual leadership conference for college students. It aims to promote Korean American community awareness, an understanding about cultural identity and minority race relations, passion for community and civic leadership.

Students – including of nonKorean descent – from incoming college freshman to recently graduated undergraduate students are invited to apply for the unique conference.

For a week in June, the conference will hosts 25-30 students from across the nation. Students will participate in panel sessions, workshops and mentorship exercises with invited community leaders, elected officials, distinguished media leaders and management experts. Students will experience a culture of mentorship and have the opportunity to develop professional skills such as resume building, job interviewing, brand building via social media and conflict resolution.
