Beverly Hills residents and owners of the luxury tennis boutique, Love Love Tennis, Robert and Adeline Cook have shown remarkable resilience and sportsmanship by securing a bronze ball at the Level 1 USTA National Husband and Wife Open 100’s Indoors Tournament held in Kansas City, Kan.

The victory is particularly poignant as it follows a challenging period for Adeline Cook. On March 9, the Cooks won a gold ball in the Grass Court National Husband and Wife 100’s Tournament at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage. Just three days later, Adeline was involved in a severe car accident on Beverly Drive, just north of Sunset Boulevard, which totaled her vehicle and resulted in traumatic brain injury along with tears in her neck and back. The injuries left her unable to drive or walk without dizziness and nausea for over two months.

Despite the significant challenges, Adeline’s determination and the unwavering support of her husband and doubles partner, Robert, led them to this impressive achievement in Kansas City.

“Winning a bronze ball in the state I am currently in is a testament to my husband and doubles partner Robert,” Adeline said.

The Cooks have been diligently practicing at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club on Maple Drive, where they prepare alongside former professional tennis player and multiple gold ball winner Anne White and other dedicated tennis enthusiasts from the Beverly Hills community.
