Presented by Assistance League of Los Angeles, Prom Day is an annual event that serves 200+ high school female-identifying students from the Los Angeles Unified School District who are experiencing homelessness or in foster care. The event will be held on March 14 and 15 at Emerson College, located at 5960 Sunset Blvd.

At Prom Day, students can step into a “pop-up” boutique, choose (and keep) their ideal, new prom outfit – at no cost. The League provides dresses, shoes, accessories and make-up. Without Prom Day, these girls would be unable to participate in a high school rite of passage: prom.

Volunteer shifts are from 8-11:30 a.m. on March 14 and noon-4 p.m. on March 15. Volunteers are needed for set-up and teardown on March 12 and 15. To sign up, visit signupgenius.com/go/409044BABAE2FA5FC1-47273975-prom#.
