To celebrate “Painting in the River of Angels: Judy Baca and The Great Wall,” join LACMA for a screening of Agnès Varda’s “Mur Murs” (1981) at 6 p.m. on March 20, followed by a conversation at 7:30 p.m. between renowned artist Judy Baca; Pilar Tompkins Rivas, chief curator and deputy director of curatorial and collections at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art; and Michael Govan, CEO and Wallis Annenberg director at LACMA. The discussion will explore the rich history of The Great Wall of Los Angeles.

This program includes access to the exhibition “Painting in the River of Angels: Judy Baca and The Great Wall” starting at 5 p.m. in LACMA’s Resnick Pavilion. The screening will be held at the Academy Museum.
