The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is holding a monthly hands-on craft workshop on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 3-6 p.m. at Charles White Elementary School.

Get crafty and work with a variety of artmaking mediums to con- tribute to a collaborative sufra, a table cover traditionally made of textiles and used as a dining surface in Islamic countries around the world. Visitors of all ages will create a mini paper sufra that will be displayed in the community

The series is presented in conjunction with the “Dining with the Sultan” exhibit at Charles White Elementary School, 611 Carondelet St. Validated free parking is available in the parking structure across Carondelet Street from the school.
