Join Neighbors for Responsible Television City Development at Greenway Court Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for a Q&A session with Hackman Capital Partners on the Television City 2050 project at Beverly Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue.

Members of Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky’s staff will attend. The organization is holding the meeting so the community can have questions answered and interact with the developer.

Hackman Capital Partners, which purchased the property in 2018 from CBS, has embarked on a plan to modernize the studio, which opened in 1952, to meet the requirements of contemporary productions. It is proposing to build nearly 1.875 million square feet of new studio production space.

The Los Department of City Planning is currently preparing the final environmental impact report for the project, as well as a final Specific Plan. The documents will likely be available after the beginning of the year.
