The ocean view event and meeting venue The Conservatory at Hotel Casa del Mar raises awareness about ocean research and conservation. The Conservatory also serves an eco-conscious menu that highlights organizations focusing on oceanic research, education and the preservation of marine biodiversity. Menu selections are inspired by foods identified by conservationists as wild and overly abundant. Appetizers include purple sea urchin and European green crab pesto crostini. The menu also features entrees of garlic buttered blue crawfish linguine, Asian carp fish tacos with vegetable slaw, wild boar, stuffed chicken breast with squash fritters and dandelion green salad lyonnaise. 1910 Ocean Way.
