Television City is holding additional meetings on its modernization plan on Nov. 1, 8 and 13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Television City’s project will ensure it remains a premier production facility, as it has been since 1952. The ownership is committed to being a responsible neighbor and to ongoing community outreach and stakeholder engagement throughout and after the entitlement process.
On Oct. 13, the Department of City Planning released a preliminary draft of the TVC Specific Plan. The document incorporates comments received on the project’s draft environmental impact report. The TVC Specific Plan, prepared by the Department of City Planning, can be viewed by visiting planning.lacity.org/development-services/eir/tvc-2050-project-1.
To provide neighbors and other community stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about the project, Television City has held numerous meetings and welcomed the public at open houses on Oct. 18 and 22.
Television City would also like to conduct deeper engagement on certain topics that have been of interest to the community and is organizing additional focus group sessions to solicit further input from residents and stakeholders.
The meetings on Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 will focus on the proposed project, studio land uses, heights and the specific plan. The Nov.13 meeting will cover access, mobility, parking and traffic management.
