The Ebell of Los Angeles hosted Mayor Karen Bass and Dr. Va Lecia Adams Kellum, CEO of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, for a discussion on homelessness on Oct. 4. The discussion was moderated by was moderated by Sarah Dusseault, co-chair of the Blue Ribbon Commission on homelessness and a strategist with The Angeleno Project. Dusseault previously served as chief of staff for former Los Angeles Councilman David Ryu, 4th District.
Janey Rountree, executive director of the California Policy Lab at UCLA, also gave a presentation prior to the discussion, and Jill Bauman, CEO Emeritus of Imagine L.A., provided introductions.
