Faith and Community Empowerment, a community services organization, is hosting its annual free annual homeownership fair on July 15 at Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with mortgage lenders and industry experts who provide the tools to purchase a home. The fair will include plenary sessions covering various homeownership topics including credit, the home buying process, special bank products, down payment assistance and foreclosure prevention assistance resources/programs.
FACE will also introduce new bank programs that have no minimum credit scores, no PMI, 0% down, and no closing costs as well as the city of Los Angeles’ low-to-moderate income program up to $140,000 in assistance as well as $115,000 for moderate income.
“Through this fair, we want to share the good news that homeownership is possible whether you have low credit, not enough down payment or not enough income,” FACE President and CEO Hyepin Im said. “We want to invite people to the homeownership fair and learn what is possible.”
