During the June 27 Beverly Hills City Council meeting, Mayor Julian Gold commended the virtual patrol officers in the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Real Time Watch Center for reducing crime in the city.

BHPD Chief Mark Stainbrook said the watch center has become a regional model for innovation in policing, and credited the officers who work in the watch center for bringing total crimes down 21%.

“We really do appreciate all that you do to keep this community safe,” Gold said.
